1986年黃鶯鶯加盟飛碟唱片,
兩年內出了3張中文和3張英文專輯,
建立了鶯鶯姐在飛碟唱片天后的地位
1986年剛好是我熱衷於聽西洋歌的時期,
「Paradise In My Heart」是黃鶯鶯英文專輯當中,
我相當鍾愛的一張,發片當時就相當愛聽,
也因為這張的歌詞,讓我的英文有進步
其中這首充滿東方情調的「Shanghai memories of 1945」,
副歌的「I don't cry, I don't cry」餘音繚繞,
更是讓人聽過難忘
這張實在太多經典,猶豫了很久決定選擇「Forever Young」,
我喜歡副歌高昂配上和聲的部分,
還有歌詞的「你真的想要活到永遠嗎？」
喔～我不想（笑）
原曲是 >西德的團體Alphaville的第一首歌,
鶯鶯姐的版本一開始編曲很像,
但是我剛剛提到那個副歌加和聲的地方不一樣,
也就是說我鍾愛的部分其實是鶯鶯姐版獨有的
其實編曲很重要,「Shanghai memories of 1945」的原曲聽起來有點恐怖（笑）,
「Have you ever seen the rain」的原曲沒有鶯鶯姐版本的雷聲,
聽久了鶯鶯姐的版本後,聽原曲會覺得少了一番風味
所以為什麼鶯鶯姐的英文歌讓人難忘,
有時候成功的原因在於編曲
除了這首之外「The Power of Love」
「Ticket To The Tropics」,
都是一看到歌名就可以哼出旋律的名曲,
但我猜演唱會最有可能唱的,
還是「Shanghai memories of 1945」吧！
畢竟這首歌在當年實在是太紅了
